Multi-Generational Disney Vacation Rental — Grandparents & Kids Thrive

Frozen themed king bedroom on ground floor at 450 Burma Kissimmee

Multi-Generational Disney Vacation Rental — Grandparents & Kids Thrive

Multi-generational Disney trips are hard. Grandparents can’t handle stairs at midnight. Parents need space from their parents (and vice versa). Kids need proper beds. And everyone needs coffee in the morning. 450 Burma was built with this exact trip in mind.

What Multi-Gen Trips Need (That Most Rentals Miss)

Ground-floor bedroom

Stairs after a 10-mile Magic Kingdom day are miserable for anyone 60+. Our Frozen bedroom is on the ground floor — king bed, private access, no stairs at bedtime or bathroom trips.

Accessible bathrooms

We have 5.5 bathrooms — including a ground-floor half-bath and full bath close to the Frozen bedroom. No climbing stairs for midnight relief.

Adjustable bed for backs

The Master Suite features an adjustable split king — each side independently adjustable for head and feet. Worth the premium for anyone with back issues, GERD, or sleep apnea.

Separate living areas

One living room for the loud kids, one quieter space for grandparents. Multi-gen overlap shouldn’t mean everyone on one sofa.

Kitchen that fits three cooks

Island + main counter + outdoor grill = grandma, mom, and dad can all prep dinner without bumping into each other.

Pool with steps (not just a ladder)

Our pool has walk-in steps in the shallow end — much easier on older knees than ladder-only pools.

Park Days That Work for 3 Generations

Grandparent-friendly day at Magic Kingdom

  • Rent mobility scooter at park (~$50/day) or bring rented from local vendor
  • Hit low-intensity rides: Haunted Mansion, Small World, Peoplemover, Carousel of Progress
  • Lunch at Be Our Guest (advance reservation required)
  • Come home for pool break; grandparents stay poolside while parents + kids return for fireworks

Rest day at home

Grandparents love “at home” days. Pool + hot tub + coffee on the pergola + Hallmark movie on the 83″ TV. Kids swim. Parents read. Everyone’s happy.

Multi-Gen Booking Tips

  • Book 3+ months out for Spring Break / Christmas / Thanksgiving peak
  • Ask about pool heat if traveling Nov–Mar (recommend adding)
  • Request pack-n-play if you have a baby
  • Consider a 2-week rental with our length-of-stay discount (10%) — one set of grandparents does week 1, other set does week 2, kids stay both weeks
